Marine Innovation Technology Equipment Expo
Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) is launching a new event in the wake of its Green&Technology exhibitions: MIT.EQ ‘MARINE INNOVATION TECHNOLOGY EQUIPMENT EXPO’. MIT.EQ will take place from 5 to 7 March 2025 at the same time as KEY - The Energy Transition Expo, the leading European event dedicated to integrated technologies and solutions for energy efficiency and renewable energies in the Mediterranean, which in its 2024 edition recorded 53,157 attendees from 107 countries and 837 exhibitors, 33% of whom from abroad.
MIT.EQ will host companies from various sectors: supply and subcontracting in boat building; interior supplies, furnishings, plants and materials; supplies for ports and marinas; safety and rescue equipment; machinery, propulsion, plants and accessories; technical clothing and accessories; marine electronics.
And it will be complemented by a technical-scientific programme focusing mainly on the topic of sustainable innovation in the marine industry. Discussions will alternate with trade moments and the exchange of experiences on the best solutions adopted by the marine industry and the yachting industry as a whole.
Sustainability will play a primary role in the debate and in the exhibition proposals with the aim of meeting the international challenges on decarbonisation and positioning the marine industry as a niche leader in the international maritime community.
As Marco Cecchini, Business Development Manager Italy & UE of IEG explains:
"MIT.EQ will be an international exhibition event dedicated to professionals in the maritime industry, which stems from a precise market need: to have a focus on sustainable development and innovation in the sector. The marine industry is a strategic sector for Italy and we believe there is room for a new vertical event dedicated to the entire industry. MIT.EQ will not only be a B2B trade fair, but also a speaking-platform to elevate the debate on sustainable innovation in the sector, highlighting the growing commitment of companies towards cutting-edge and sustainable eco-technological innovations’".
